Significance

An electronic portfolio, also known as an e-portfolio or digital portfolio, is a collection of electronic evidence assembled and managed by a user, usually on the Web. Such electronic evidence may include inputted text, electronic files, images, multimedia, blog entries, and hyperlinks. E-portfolios are both demonstrations of the user's abilities and platforms for self-expression, and, if they are online, they can be maintained dynamically over time. Some e-portfolio applications permit varying degrees of audience access, so the same portfolio might be used for multiple purposes.

The blog that our group has done serves as an example of an E-Portfolio regarding the subject, Assessment of Student Learning wherein a compilation of reflections related to the subject were posted. This blog concentrates on the different types of assessment regarding the students’ performance. This may help the readers in determining which area of learning is needed to assessed. Furthermore, it can give ideas related on the preparation and analyzation of a test.

This blog may help future educators in assessing the performance of their future students and may be able to pick up ideas on how to improve their ways of teaching. This may be just an overview of what’s ahead of us but what’s important is that with the help of this blog, we would be able to know more about our own vocation; to be a TEACHER.
